Shipping Ports and Containers

Ports have a major challenge to monitor the containers used for import/export. The reasons can be for security or monitoring growth. Systems for tracking containers and trucks with RFID are already a reality in Brazil, particularly in the port of Santos, the largest in Latin America. Active RF tags can identify and manage the movement of people, vehicles and containers. Other applications include access control with RFID, an essential part of the ISPS Code system, adopted worldwide as a security measure against terrorism.
