The TrolleyChip T-IA7711 has a preprogrammed individual code which can not be faked. The communication from reader to transponder happens through inoffensive low power RF. Consequently, the passive transponder (without battery) transmits the code that identifies the wire hanger, without error possibility, through any non-conductive material and even a metal wire hanger. The TrolleyChips carry their manufacturer's information in their casings and additional information can be laser printed under demand.
