O Pino é equipado com o novo chip NXP G2XM, que juntamente com a memória EPC traz uma capacidade ainda maior de armazenamento para informações específicas na memória de usuário, já que itens geralmente retornáveis como os paletes necessitam de armazenamento extra de informações. O novo chip permite tal desempenho de forma confiável até em condições extremas.

In the case of pallet tracking, there is normally the need of reading one or even greater quantities of pallets, when they all go through an RFID portal. The Pino was successfully tested in tracking of big pallet batches where the tags were put sideways, enabling visibility for the readers, even when maneuvered behind piledrivers.

The wood industry sees today the rise of a new market where several applications can benefit from RFID. The forest management is possible through the identification of individual tags to assert that protected regions are not exploited.
