AcuTag UHF Ironside

The Ironside was developed to supply the market need for a low cost, small and resistant tag, which can be embed to any metallic surface, with its adhesive or mechanically.

Petrochemical, automobile and seafare industries are the main application environments. The tag keeps the communication reliable in severe conditions, with temperature variations of temperature and mechanical fatigue which are highly challenging for any component. The Ironside represents a passive UHF solution which allows for a safe remote communication medium in transport of assets and other components, in ships and land vehicles alike. The Ironside went through the several test required to have the Aerospatial Standard AS5678 specification. Diverse applications in asset tracking require a tag of small dimensions, but with a good reading capacity that reaches meters of distance. The lifetime of the Ironside is reflected in profit in cost-benefit relation, more than any other product in the current market.

• NaOH (10%, pH 13, 24 hours of exposition);
• Sulphur acid (10%, pH 2, 168 hours of exposition);
• Motor oil (168 hours of exposition);
• Mineral oil (168 hours of exposition);
• Alcohol (168 hours of exposition);
• 170 kPa (10 min).
